‘Dawson’s Creek’ Inspired — Repressed Teen Angst Release 001

I’m nervous as fuck to feel anything new and up-coming. I’m scared to ask for feedback; and even worse is to think of receiving it. I wish I would’ve spent 2007 truthfully and shopped at Hot Topic, which would’ve jumpstarted my authentic pattern development, instead of Forever (No More) 21 that cemented an on-going pattern of second-guessing any intuitive inclination that regards self-expansion through expression.

Even angstier — I wish I would had Dawson’s Creek (which I’m binging for the first time) on Netflix in 2007. At least then, I would’ve known it was okay to be a young person with an strong opinion. With that knowing, I could’ve found other dynamic minded beings more efficiently who shared the deep distaste of the late 2000’s Top 40-Jason Derulo-centric radio. That would’ve been a good start to my own version of Dawson’s Creek.

darker tones everywhere for more accuracy..but this is the dream.

Blasting Plain White Tee’s on the outside while singing along to Slipknot on this inside was not enough. You processed too mainstream. Now I face the unavoidable desire to process in the most 2007 way I did my best to bypass…blogging. (Talk about inevitable doom/choice, which also feels like the most noteable theme of Dawson’s).

Whatever you do future me, still learning to release suppressed angst…resist the straight side bang, culy hair combo. If you can sustain this discipline for the rest of your life, you’ve won. Nothing else matters.
